Update wireframes + User testings and Use Case

In the past week, we updated the wireframes according to the discussion in class.

Our New Screens:

Then, we defined our use case and created a questionnaire to the user testings.

Main Use Case:

** (We took the scenario and detailed it into specific cases):

1. Exit (Enter a Goal and Search)
2. Change personal information (there is no settings screen yet, but we want to check if the user understands how to reach it)
3. Choose an alternate route

Questions while performing tasks:
* How do you define the route that the interface found for you?
* How many ways are you offered? Which do you think is preferable, and based on what? (Safety, time)
* Do you feel that the trip that was chosen for you is the safest? Please explain your answer

(Our intent is to set goals / tasks for users (Tasks 1-3) and in this way identify the order of actions that users do to reach the same goal)

User Testings - examples of questions:

*Looking at the app first, what impression do you get?
*Do you understand the nature of the application and its purpose?
*Does the screen design remind you of apps you've experienced before?

Findings

• First Screen - Most users defined the app as a navigation app and claimed that the app reminded them of google maps. The problem is that users do not understand that this is a different navigation application for testing the safest route. Therefore, an improvement proposal is to emphasize it directly on the welcome screen, because apart from mapping and entering the app's uniqueness goal, it is not defined and written on this screen.
• Task 1: Getting out - All subjects understood how to do the navigation - by typing in the search tab and clicking on the magnifying glass
• Task 2 - Changes in personal details: In this task most of the subjects found difficulty. This is because only "hey tomer" is written on the opening screen, and only when you click on the tab above is the profile and settings option available.
• Task 3 - Choosing an alternative route: Most of the participants understood that there is another route - the red track is the additional route and is not recommended as the chosen green route. But there was difficulty in choosing an alternate route and it was said that choosing alternate routes was not clear enough.
• When the subjects were asked to compare the green path to the red track, they encountered a difficulty of comparison between them because it is at the same time 10 minutes and this is the only information that appears for the red track. Suggestion for improvement - add information about the red route - the recommended route, so that users will understand that the green route is the safest for them.

***After tests we sat down and thought again how to improve the screens. We drew up a new sketch and plan to make a new improvement based on comments we received in the classroom and through future usability tests.
